Happy to welcome and unofficially verify Phil Schiller on Mastodon: @pschiller

They’ll let anyone in here. Literally!

@gruber @pschiller Phil verifying apple.com in his Mastodon profile would have been the power move.

@siracusa @gruber @pschiller

This reminds me of that time I worked in Cupertino (post Aldus PageMaker) and entire ο£Ώ exec team had no idea 35%-ish of global internet was powered by Mac's running Apache

Welcome Phil!

@siracusa @gruber @pschiller Phil if you need a little blog or something lemme know and I can show you how to whip one up
@anildash @siracusa @gruber @pschiller don't listen to him, he's a movable type
@dmnelson oh yeah, that used to be a thing. whatever happened to iweb?
@siracusa @gruber @pschiller you say jokingly β€” but I imagine we’re not far off from companies setting up their own Fediverse servers to guarantee uptime and verification of their PR/marketing/public facing employees
@mgoedicke ouff that would be sweet!

@mgoedicke @siracusa @gruber Companies are one thing I kind of miss on Mastodon - it is/was nice about Twitter that you could contact a lot of companies through there.

Considering helping set up a hosted instance for my employer to #BeTheChange. Suspect getting buy-in from non-techies will be challenging at this stage.

@mgoedicke @siracusa @gruber There is perhaps a business opportunity for someone to try to be The Instance for companies/brands.
@siracusa @gruber @pschiller I just want to know what Phillip is driving these days, I know he’s likes his cars πŸš—
