FediTips has moved!

As you might have seen in the last boost, I've started a new server directory site to help people sign up on Mastodon and the Fediverse:

If you want to follow the project, its account is at:

Reasons for making this directory:

-It will list both Mastodon and non-Mastodon servers.
-It has a maximum size, megaservers aren't listed.
-It's manually curated and has safety/reliability requirements.

As far as I know, no one else is doing this.

Submitting @mstdn.ca for potential addition to the list. Canadian server. Looks well managed. Although I couldn't find out how many subscribers they have.

@feditips @FediGarden I am basically just a reader and sometimes comment. I really like Mastodon. However I like to be notified when someone I follow makes a post. Will this ever be a reality. Right now I find out because they post on Twitter that they made the update on Mastodon. I really want to dump Twitter. Thoughts appreciated.

@AdnilRhomx Once you follow someone, you can click the bell icon on the upper corner of their profile in the web interface to get notifications every time they post. Thanks for asking!

@feditips @FediGarden pardon my lack of knowledge. But I don’t really use social media a lot and am not very technical. But I have friends who have never bothered with Twitter but do like Facebook. Is there a Fedi server that operates more like aFacebook that I could suggest they start to use, because I know a lot of them would be happy to get away from all thing Meta
