@josh Right, the pet peeve isn’t around people saying UX/UI, it’s the perception behind it that bothers me. People just don’t understand creating user experiences and the word “design” has multiple meanings. They want to agree with creating something people want to use but can only judge it on the UI layer they see. So they revert to UX/UI because there’s no difference to them, it’s one job. UX-then-UI Designer might be better shorthand for an all-encompassing person.
