Just seen Batman Forever for the first time - was a little too silly, enjoyable but not as good as the first two. Quite like Carrey’s portrayal, dialogue oscillated between poignant and clunky, all rather mixed really

@lupestripe @jamesthedog even though B&R is a notorious film, it is good for any marathon to take in the good and bad as it informs us a lot about the decisions taken later. It is interesting watching how B&R lead to the course correction many years later, which in itself influenced the film style of the 00s/10s era
