It's fair to say I'm getting increasingly dissilusioned with this fandom. On the one hand we're increasingly having things forced on us that are completely inappropriate if not downright offensive and being told we're "interolerant" and "prudes" for objecting, while on the other hand perfectly SFW and inoccuous things are inciting witchunts and people being banned from places. I wish it made sense.

I'd struggle to believe KF if they said the sky is blue, so when they say they're not behind the FA hacks, I'm not taking their word for it.
Yeah... you don't make a character that looks like this unless you're intentionally going after the furry trash market. They knew what they were doing... but then tease us by making us to wait another 18 months to find out anything about them... #indigopark #salemskunk
So now the transphobes are turning on people who were born as women and indentify as women, but insisting they must be men because in their head they're too big and "butch" to be a woman. It's not even about biological sex any more. It's sick, they're just moving on to more and more people now and becoming the gender police. Nothing to do with biological gender or indentified gender, they're just telling people what gender they should be bassed on narrow ideas.
And the events in Southport tonight just show how the far right have completely taken over twitter. This wouldn't have happened without the misinformation spreading, the racists with blue ticks pushing it to the top and Elon happy to leave it there.
Everyone still using that site should get away from it.
So disheartening that most of the election posters near where my sister lives are for either Lee Anderson or Jason Zadrozny. So they either want to elect a notorious racist, or a man on trial for fraud. Do they put lead in the drinking water there or something?
The fact the latter promotes himself as an alternative to the "corrupt main parties" when both him and others in his group are caught up in fraud and other scandals is laughable. But clearly plenty are falling for it.
My assumption is that the boosted post is referring to an event that CFz is hosting that they really shouldn't be, many of the con staff don't want them to be hosting (and most weren't even informed about the fact they would be hosting) and is asking for trouble.
The fact they had to put certain things into their announcement yesterday is a major red flag. If there's so much of a risk of people getting naked and having sex at the event that you have to actually tell people not to do it, then you should be asking if it's an appropriate event for a convention of this kind in the first place (and I'd say 90% of people I've talked to about it- including the con's own head of welfare, who's going to be in charge of trying to police said event- think that it isn't).
Oh, and it looks like Furrball talks now as well...
