So I need some advice. What personal antivirus or general protection should I use on my system at home and my work laptop?

I want something not expensive and hopefully offered a VPN for while I'm out at a co-working space.

I was thinking Kaspersky, but should I be worried about bears getting up in my grill?

@RedPandaDoge for a corporate device, let the company manage its own problems. For your own device, the built-in antivirus (ie Defender or XProtect) is fine. Don’t bother with VPN unless there’s something you can’t access without one (eg VPN back to your home network). Most network traffic these days is already protected using TLS so a MITM or data harvesting is unlikely

@jpm for my company we are super small, I'm the security guy along with anything else the boss doesn't know how to do.
I had to force them to run windows and chrome updates as it was stressing me when he was showing me anything on his PC.

We share a co-working space and I just get a bit paranoid and didn't know if I should be using a VPN for it or not.
