Jim "Ham on a Bike"@nn3x practice practice practice is the key. Don't be afraid to jump on the air even though you may not feel ready. Good operators will work with you no matter your recieving speed.
@N4JAW yep, I’m doing about fourth five minutes of practice every day. Still only about half way through the characters though, but when I do get them all I’ll take the on the air plunge! Looking ahead at my course I’m guessing mid to late February, which is also when my birthday is. So, new goal, my first CW QSO on or before my birthday!
