Having left Twitter for reasons, I’m dismayed to see some of my fellow refugees posting content from Twitter. RT’s. So that, to explore the content, I would need to connect to Twitter again.

Isn’t it worth the extra trouble to find the non-Twitter version of whatever it is you’re highlighting?

@JamesGleick I’d just suggest not following folks who’s habits annoy you. Personally, I appreciate the sense that if something significant happens over there, I hear about it.

Precisely. Also no need to slavishly follow all the high profile accounts if already following others whose judgement is similar to one's own and who'll likely reblog interesting stuff anyway.
