Over the year change, we always do a big family planning session for the year — trips, vacations, special activities like renovations etc.

I find this works best when thinking in weeks, not months, and being able to see everything at once. So I always print a large, 5-6 pages weekly year calendar and we sit around it and plan together.

It's really nice to see the whole year at once!

I print at 300% using the free Acrobat Reader and the "poster" function that allows tiling across pages with cut marks etc.

@moritz wondering what kind of adobe acrobat accepts plain SVG (not my acrobat) ... Had to save as pdf in illustrator. Praise for the useful document though!
