One thing I've been noticing in my correspondence is how many people think inflation is still running wild; the big deceleration in the 2nd half of 2022 hasn't broken through to public consciousness 1/
@pkrugman Of course, “inflation” is felt by actual people as higher prices, and when inflation begins to abate, any resulting price reductions aren’t immediately seen by consumers. Inflation is unfortunately used by some politicians as yet another bogeyman. ☹️
