#Egypt and #Iraq both operate hundreds and hundreds of #M1A1 tanks. #Australia, #Kuwait, #SaudiArabia, and #Morocco have those and presently or soon will also have #M1A2 variants. Those are countries with hostile natural environments for #tanks. Send #Ukraine the ~450 former #USMC M1’s.

I don’t disagree with the idea but I think it would be hard to do.

The M1 turbine is a different critter and, as I understand it, maintenance training isn’t easy.
