It's been a couple months since I transferred to mstdn.ca from mstdn.jp
At first, I was concerned that I'd lose touch with content that is local to me. But to be honest, most of that previous instance was just porn and spam, so not much lost.
As well, I seem to have reconnected here with most of J-Twitter that I was connected to previously, as well as a few new with whom I wasn't. So in all, not bad.

On top of that, I've had far more exposure to Canadian content, which has been really nice for me. To be honest, I never really paid too much attention to the Homeland before this. I'd certainly interact with family and keep up on that sort of stuff, but overall, aside from the occasional bout of homesickness....it would not really cross my mind much.
So having more stuff in the timeline has been a pleasant experience for me.
