It's been a couple months since I transferred to mstdn.ca from mstdn.jp
At first, I was concerned that I'd lose touch with content that is local to me. But to be honest, most of that previous instance was just porn and spam, so not much lost.
As well, I seem to have reconnected here with most of J-Twitter that I was connected to previously, as well as a few new with whom I wasn't. So in all, not bad.

Accidental #houseplants propagation story: Few weeks ago, I noticed a few leaves on my red-green maranta prayer plant were very wilted while the rest of the plant looked just fine. Upon inspection, I found that one branch was hanging on like a loose tooth. I’m not sure if it broke when I moved it to water it, or if a cat was involved 🤔 I sliced off the branch, plopped it in water, and now we have roots! The resilience of @houseplants is amazing #RootinTootin
