If the fed is cutting that means we're in a recession. If the fed is raising the economy is strong. Only tech bros want deflation
@rubecube12 @johnserwach @ForeignSubstance
Biden wants deflation - you have completely the wrong feel. Listen to this AEI dude - this is a political battle.

@ForeignSubstance @plutus @johnserwach
Conservatives want deflation. Liberals want inflation. Inflation helps the poor and those in debt. Deflation helps the rich and hurts the poor
@ForeignSubstance @rubecube12 @plutus
It depends. It is hard on the truly poor. But It does tend to benefit the working poor when combined with reasonable wage increases. The working poor (at least in the US) are more apt to own homes in less desirable neighborhoods and or have debt from medical bills, attempts at college, children etc and those debts do tend to inflate away. Obviously it’s beneficial to the so called middle class if they have debt.
@johnserwach @rubecube12 @plutus Key: "when combined with reasonable wage increases"
And conservatives don't want deflation. Nobody wants deflation. It's what the Fed has spent more than a decade trying to prevent.
@rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance @plutus
The wage increases at or near the bottom are the biggest I’ve seen in all my years these last two years. The fight for fifteen is over, labor won.
Will it be a Pyrrhic victory? Jury is still out.
@plutus @rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance
Concussion tent ? Error correct has got me on that one. 😂
People need to make a stand here, and demand higher wages. The pendulum needs to tilt back. It’s gone too far to the richest among us.
@plutus @johnserwach @ForeignSubstance
No doubt we live in a third world country. Don't let anyone tell you differently
https://www.cbsnews.com/video/mississippi-capital-facing-water-crisis-once-again/
Public schools in Jackson, Mississippi, were forced to go virtual after much of the city has been under a boil water notice since Christmas. Some businesses are also closing after months of dealing with the water crisis. Mark Strassmann takes a look.

For you Danny
@johnserwach @plutus @ForeignSubstance
CBDC coin unauthorized by Congress is unconstitutional. No deal on debt limit. Either a clean bill, platinum coin or Argentina. Clean bill or nothing. If republicans want to screw over there constituents who own govt boobs fine. Dems will pay for Medicare like Kitchner. Fuck the bond holders
@plutus @johnserwach @ForeignSubstance
80% of republicans own assets including bonds. Only 30% of democrats do. If republicans don't want to pay the bond holders. Fine. We don't have to pay the bond holders. They can get nothing
@plutus @ForeignSubstance @rubecube12
Hope y’all did something to honor Dr. King today.

Tell Sean. I bought a tesla as business decision. Thats the last penny Elon will get from me. I will not be returning to twitter
@ForeignSubstance @johnserwach @plutus
I will be buying hydrogen in 5 years when the technology is viable and uber gives them green ride status
@ForeignSubstance @johnserwach @plutus
Hydrogen safer than tesla. 2 year old baby injured by Elon self driving
@ForeignSubstance @johnserwach @plutus
Yeah. I'm spending 1k a month on gas. It was 30% off and basically free with tax promotions
@ForeignSubstance @rubecube12 @plutus
Dan, I just can’t believe it — I just, idk man- wtf? You? That would be like me voting for trump!
@plutus @ForeignSubstance @johnserwach
Its cuz Uber has stupid deal with them. Theyre the cheepest electric black car
@plutus @ForeignSubstance @rubecube12
I think u mentioned it before, it’s just, idk I guess… I guess… everybody has a price.

@plutus @johnserwach @ForeignSubstance
It's trash car. Apple car play on my Subaru 1000x better
@ForeignSubstance @plutus @rubecube12
Did u trade in the subie ? What did u get ? Model C ?
@ForeignSubstance @plutus @johnserwach
Yeah. For model Y
@rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance @plutus
I know nothing about which model is which tbh. All I hear is the fit and finish is shit. Personally I think they’re ugly the S was nice looking.
@plutus @ForeignSubstance @protecttruth @rubecube12
So what do you guys think, buy more iBonds, just go high yield checking or something like VGLT ??
@protecttruth @plutus @ForeignSubstance @johnserwach
Ibonds are good. Swvxx is better
@protecttruth @ForeignSubstance @plutus @johnserwach
More liquid is better. Also fed aint stopping raising. So yield will go up. While ibonds yield will go down until fed stops raising
@rubecube12 @protecttruth @ForeignSubstance @plutus
feds about done raising, of course inflation is about over as well so I bond will go back down.
@johnserwach @plutus @ForeignSubstance @protecttruth
When fed quits raising. Inflation will bounce back
@rubecube12 @protecttruth @plutus @ForeignSubstance
I doubt it, but we will see.
@johnserwach @protecttruth @ForeignSubstance @plutus
Rates still way below inflation. Thats not restrictive
@plutus @protecttruth @ForeignSubstance @rubecube12
Inflation is zero.
The only person feeling inflation right now is Gaston- and that’s because he eats 5 dozen eggs.
@johnserwach @plutus @ForeignSubstance @protecttruth
Its 7% YOY. Seasonality should make inflation negative at this time of year
@protecttruth @ForeignSubstance @plutus @johnserwach
Just healthy consolidation
@protecttruth @ForeignSubstance @rubecube12 @plutus
For reference here is the 2008-2011 data, note inflation peaked in July of 2008 and did not go positive until January of 2011. Pretty standard 15 year cycle. (One weird trick THEY don’t want you to know about)
@plutus @ForeignSubstance @johnserwach @protecttruth
Wages are changed on an annual basis. Prices are sticky
@johnserwach @plutus @ForeignSubstance @protecttruth
Fed has just normalized rates. Inflation is not going down. The population growth rate is about to explode as soon as the fed lets of the breaks
@ForeignSubstance @johnserwach @protecttruth @plutus
Housing prices up 3%

Calling Planet Plutus the fed only cuts when crude is sub 50, aluminum is sub 2000, Soy beans are sub 1000 and wheat is sub 500. Commodities are still too high. Way too high
@rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance @protecttruth @johnserwach
SD/cali in general is 30/40% more expensive than Michigan - just checked

Not very good cars, but I'll get paid more per ride. The math made sense. Anyways. If people cant see that El Nino is already here they are blind. When the Washington Post finally admits it that is when El nino is over https://www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2023/01/19/el-nino-return-climate-record/
@rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance @plutus
No oil changes, no brakes etc. so that’s a plus. Can u charge at your condo ??
@plutus @johnserwach @ForeignSubstance
I can charge at my condo. No oil changes. I'll paying myself equity and tax deductible interest instead of gas. I will be paying 50 dollars to rotate my tires instead of 100 dollars in oil changes and tire rotation every 6 weeks. I wont have a 700 dollar 30k big service every 30 weeks. Just need to change tires. So cuts service cost half
