New HomePod!

Looks the same, but it's got a temperature and humidity sensor, Matter support, new ambient sound features, and new confirmation tones for some Siri requests.

Also: perfect tagline from Apple 😂

@viticci the mini is also now listed to have temp/humidity sensor, which was initially reported as ‘hidden’.. maybe will be enabled with 16.3?

@Yannis my HomePod Mini’s are on the 16.3 beta and I just tested it out and when asked what’s the temperature in here, Siri responded “It’s currently 76 degrees in the hallway”. Unsure why the hallway was mentioned as I am in my Loft but I had no idea it had temp sensing until I read it on the HomePod page on Apple.com.

@iBanks My minis are on 16.2 and Siri said ‘there are no accessories that support temperature control’.. so sounds they’re enabling it with 16.3?
