Moderate, reasonable Republicans must start their own party. That will be only way for them to stop the fascist Republicans that have taken over. Those that are not insane and determined to install an autocratic despotic christofascist system have left. Not sure if there are enough of them to make a difference but it's their only choice if they refuse the Democratic party.

@ned @MlleaPankhurst If there are any, that’s their only solution, in my opinion.

None showed up in the House Speaker election so I don’t think we’ll find any there.

@MlleaPankhurst @ned @TonyStark “Moderate, reasonable Republicans” — assumes facts not in evidence!
@MlleaPankhurst @ned @TonyStark Who are these moderates? Rep Nancy Mace did a media tour & then voted with the kooks. That’s gaslighting.

There's a few that I can think of, but none hold office.

Charlie Sykes @SykesCharlie and pretty much everyone at the Bulwark.
Sykes's "Bulwark podcast" is a bastion for reasonable, moderate (former) Republicans and is a worthy listen any time.
Mike Murphy is another one. He does a podcast with David Axelrod ( Obama campaign manager) called "Hacks on Tap" and Murphy might be the funniest Republican I've ever heard.
They also bring great guests on.

If any moderate republicans existed, they would already have started this new party.
