Long ago in 1978, Chaosium founder Greg Stafford gave this advice in one of the first-ever adventures for #RuneQuest. A groundbreaking way to think about #TTRPG world-building —"the monsters are people too" — and still enriching how RuneQuest is written for and played today.
@Chaosium As someone who played RuneQuest in the 70s and 80s, I've been proposing it to my TTRPG friends who are suddenly looking for a new system. What I haven't been able to find, though, is any sort of digital character creation/maintenance tool. Is there one, somewhere? Sure, we got by without them in the old days, but darn if they aren't handy, now.
@Chaosium And if they roll as lousily as I do during Sacred Time, then they'd be advised to just take the standard payout and not be greedy.
@leece @Chaosium Look, I always offer the choice of 3 skill points each season. If you choose to roll, then that’s not my fault if Roll20 hates you.
@arcadiagt5 @Chaosium Hey it's not just Roll20, and I'm just trying to help out the monsters.
