Happy birthday, Martin Luther King, Jr.!

Most images of the African-American Civil Rights Movement and its leaders are in black and white, shaping the way we look at them in such a way that we almost can't imagine them other than that.

To commemorate his legacy we have colorized some of the most iconic photos of Dr. King and put them together with other full-color photos of him to get a more colourful impression of his life, his activism and his dedication to the struggle for justice and freedom.
