Classified documents all have a secure home/safe for storage. At no time should classified material not be returned to its original location for accountability within 24 hours. They should be signed for EVERY TIME they are needed and returned the same day. #classified
Milcom Miasma@SemperSaint I'm guessing you got the same annual lecture I got about proper storage and handling of classified documents. I'm having a little trouble with how casual the rules seemed to be up the chain of command. Some people have had their careers ruined or even done jail time for far less severe mishandling offenses than we're seeing in the press right now.
@mmiasma ABSOLUTELY. I’ve had mandatory “Security Refreshers” each of the last 16 years since I retired from the Corps as well for my civilian job. This is all somewhat unfathomable to me.
LeaBug@mmiasma @SemperSaint I'd go to jail if I even had one document taken home. There needs to be better oversight on this. Expunging Reality Winners case file would be a start to making things right too.
