@Macabre_ish I honestly loved it. A lot of people feel like itβs just too much, and I definitely get that, but itβs just right up my alley.
@lunchb0x_b I agree. I enjoy quite a bit that people find too extreme. I donβt post too much of that because people start getting weird and aggressive about it.
@Macabre_ish Did you also watch #ASerbianFilm? Thatβs one Iβm not sure I could stand to watch again, but I can at least admit that it does what it sets out to do.

@Macabre_ish a couple years back, I had a list of stuff like that I wanted to watch. Got through a few of them, but that one halted things and I didnβt watch the rest of my list. Iβm not sure what all I had on it, but I know Salo was one of them I didnβt get to. August Underground was so on that list. Those and the damn French movie with the flaying scene I can never remember the name of.

@Macabre_ish Yeah, Martyers is it! I watched the original and it was alright. Didnβt watch the remake though. I heard it was kinda bad.

@Macabre_ish Iβve seen all of those except The Seasoning House, American Mary and the Guinea Pig series. American Mary is the Soska Sisters, right? Iβve heard mixed reviews on that one. I heard the Guinea Pig series can be pretty rough, but Iβd like to see them. Not sure where to watch them though. Not heard of The Seasoning House. Cannibal Holocaust, Iβve seen a few times. Itβs not a great movie, but I really enjoy Cannibal stuff. Love The Green Inferno. Audition is awesome!
@lunchb0x_b Yes, American Mary is by the Soskas! I really like it, even if the ending did piss me off. I know I have others but I need to peruse and just make and keep a list. Oh and May is very good!

@Macabre_ish Iβve at least heard of The Human Centipede, but never watched it. Seemed more gross than intriguing to me. π€£ Iβve not heard of any of the others.
@lunchb0x_b Oh, not doubt itβs gross but the first two Centipedes really express a depravity that is just disturbing and bleak. The 3rd is a totally different tone. The ridiculous meter is really turned up on that one, itβs too bright and wacky for me.
@Macabre_ish Iβve definitely been a bit curious about them, because, like all this stuff, you either love it or hate it. Just never pulled the trigger on them. I may check out the first one. My wife isnβt into the extreme horror stuff, so I donβt watch it a whole lot, but she wonβt be home next weekend, so I may have to find some good stuff to watch.
@lunchb0x_b I hear that! It took me a long time to watch the first one and then I watched the second one and it is much more disturbing than the first. I understand, I watch the dark stuff when my S.O. isnβt around too. A lot of this stuff is not for the casual viewer. π
@Macabre_ish Definitely not! I made my wife read the Wikipedia on A Serbian Film and afterwards all she could say is βWhy the fuck did you make me read that?β She can watch all this true crime stuff, but canβt handle the fake stuff. π€£
@lunchb0x_b Thatβs so funny! And true. True crime fans canβt not stomach it, which is actually interesting. I expected them to be able to handle it better but nope. π
@Macabre_ish Right? Makes no sense to me! I enjoy both genres, myself. She thinks a lot of the movies I watch are dumb too. Iβm pretty sure sheβs got a list of awful stuff Iβve made her watch, which is fair, because Iβve made her watch some pretty bad stuff. π€£ I believe Thankskilling, Rubber and Hausu are her go-to examples. She can never remember Blood Freak though. Donβt blame her there. Who would want to? π€£

@lunchb0x_b Oh and also make sure you watch the 2010 Victim with Stephen Weigand. I didnβt realize how many Victim movies there were.
