@sable I don’t disagree, but also find it bizarre that it turned out that art was easier to automate than driving cars or walking. Certainly not from a lack of trying either. O_o
@slembcke@sable with paintings, it doesn’t really matter if the human hand suddenly has six fingers (a typical ML issue). With navigating traffic, precision is important, and ML is bad at it.
@chucker@sable Not that it changes your point, but ML can drive a car with more precision than a person in normal circumstances, but often fails spectacularly during exceptional ones.
