Wes MountainI really love the idea of ChatGPT as a bullshitter, ie. vaguely accurate but more interesting in selling the idea it knows.
But I think it’s a specific kind of bullshitter: the guy who pretends he knows your favourite band in around 2001 and gets the general gist but no specific facts right.
Example: I asked it to give me a bio (a reasonable amount of info is online about, about the same amount as a local band then).
It kind of gets my deal, but none of the facts
