That Karen Bass interview on Gimme Shelter is the epitome of a certain kind of progressive consensus on market rate housing that is dead wrong:
—we don’t need “luxury housing,” only affordablr housing
—who even lives in those new luxury condos?
—there’s a high vacancy rate
—I hear it’s all owned by foreigners anyway.
