Frank X. ShawI love my big old powerful gas stove, and two years ago after looking at the challenges to internal air quality decided if I needed to replace it I'd go with induction. Haven't had to do this yet, and didn't feel like it was a big deal -- new information, new decision next time! Why is this now political again?

John Montgomery@fxshaw Same same here. Friends who are chefs swear by the nuance you get from induction, then talk about the things that are different. Like cooking with a wok.
Nate Rich@fxshaw I had the exact same thought process a couple years back, and it's annoying to know that something as mundane as replacing a stove will be seen by some as a political statement.
