Dlss5 is great news for the incel crowd, weird demographic for nvidia to be courting, but we'll see how it works out for them.
DirectX 12 News from GDC 2026 - My Comments

"The most wildly successful project I’ve ever released is no longer mine. In all my years of building things and sharing them online, I have never felt so violated."

Haha, I got my first AI bot detection on the Inkscape job posting.

This email starts talking about cheese half way through the message... which it would only do if it saw the hidden text in the job description.

Reminder: if the job application has a big red box that says No generative AI to be used to apply for the job, or do the job; then perhaps don't use an AI to generate your cover letter?

Come on guys!

Please don't go to GDC. They charge a lot of money when the main benefit is socializing outside the conference and add to that the danger of traveling to the U.S and GDC must end. I have a lot of problems with GDC and how they con attendees and speakers with "it's good for your career" bullshit. I haven't gone in years and won't in the future.
Has anyone actively used a Photometry setup/workflow (specifically for 3D props/assets not for facescans ala litghstage) in a real production so far? Everything I've seen/tried so far seems 2 much hassle vs benefits for what can be done "manually" (creating all the maps) often with better result. 😑

Une nouvelle image a été dévoilée aujourd’hui par l’ESA : une observation conjointe des satellites Hubble et Euclid, qui se sont intéressés de très près à la nébuleuse de l’Œil du Chat, ou NGC 6543.
