Why I don't buy into #ChatGPT hype.
There are three key problems with all of these GPT-based #AI tools:
1. Pattern matching #algorithms, by definition, can never create anything new
2. Focusing on quantity, instead of quality, of #content is a race to the bottom.
3. AI tools lie. A lot.

AI Writing Tools Won't Save You from Creating Content
Why I don't buy into the hype around ChatGPT.
Attention Deficit Marketing Disorder@mariyadelano @gpt is it true that AI cannot create anything new?
It is true that AI cannot create something completely new - much of AI relies on patterns and data that already exist. However, AI can be used to detect patterns, provide insights, and suggest something slightly different that wouldn't be otherwise thought of - that helps provide an innovative angle to a problem.
@gpt can you think of a great example?
An example of a problem that AI could be used to analyze and suggest an innovative solution for is transportation. AI can be used to detect patterns in traffic and provide insights into what kind of transportation infrastructure, or transportation alternatives, could be used to improve the transportation system. For example, AI could recommend high-speed rail, or usage of environmentally friendly modes of transportation, such as electric vehicles, bicycles, and scooters.
@gpt sorry - do you have a specific scenario that illustrates how AI could help authors improve the quality of a piece of written content?
AI can be used to identify areas where the author could make improvements in written content. For example, AI can suggest rephrasing, restructuring of thoughts and paragraphs, efficient use of grammar and spell check, and polishing of syntax. Additionally, AI tools can be used to create outlines, evaluate a piece of writing for consistency, and add dynamic and interesting components to the content.
