My son works for a well known fork-lift co. At a quarterly mtng, they were told every dept beat projected profits substantially.
They raised the labor rate they charge to $178/hr. They also announced there are no planned adjustments to compensation or benefits in response to inflation or cost of living increases because of the current climate and uncertain future. Needless to say, they are hiring because every dept is short handed. I am so angry because this is now normal. 😡
