Well this is very heartening to see. ❤️
@mikegalsworthy Very good. Now let's rejoin,
@mikegalsworthy "oh, so leopards could possibly eat *my* face!" say members of Leopards Eating People's Faces party, in a surprise and probably transient bout of self-awareness.
@joao no shit sherlock mode? 😂
@arturcoelho

Pois, parece que sim! Grandes parvos, os inventores do Brexit e todos os que foram atrás da patranha!!!

Foi a segunda coisa mais parva que eu vi. Estava em primeiro lugar antes do estupor do Putin ter nascido!
@mikegalsworthy I agree and want to boost this, but don't feel able to because of the lack of a "politics" or "brexit" CW on it.
@mikegalsworthy And Britain takes one for the team...
@mikegalsworthy It is, although it's a tad annoying to have effectively been the guinea pigs in the experiment. ☹️
@mikegalsworthy “If you can’t be a good example, at least be a terrible warning”
@mikegalsworthy Hungary: interesting, Orban doesn't seem to have a good sense for his people. Poland's results would be very interesting as well
@mikegalsworthy thany you UK for your sacrifice.
@mikegalsworthy depends what EU they want. It's turning into an internal power struggle with the far right trying to create a fortress Europe based on extremely reactant patriarchal ideology. Looking at how well patriarchal societies fared throughout History, it doesn't bode well and doesn't fill me with joy nor hope.

Furthermore, far right are way better are putting aside their differences in order to win.
@mikegalsworthy Portugal: EU helps protect from ourselves.

@mikegalsworthy

It looks like Russian agents ( hello Nigel F) have been less successful on the mainland

@mikegalsworthy what did br#xit ever do for us? Now we know :)
@mikegalsworthy
Our gift to the EU.

@richardtunnicliffe

Yup - the gift of stability, by blowing up far right fantasies.

@mikegalsworthy
Nice to see some actual benefit from Brexit.
Reality always was kryptonite to the Brexiters dreams. Now they latch on to the desperate “it wasn’t done properly”.
@mikegalsworthy we took one for the team?
@mikegalsworthy curious whether this was done before or after Feb 24. Not necessarily arguing that it’s all thanks to a renewed fear from external threats, but if the survey was from Jan, it would be easier to convince myself fully.
@mikegalsworthy
If you can't be good, you can at least be good example of what not to do.
@mikegalsworthy you could call this a Brexit benefit.
@mikegalsworthy sad that Labour does not want to address alignment with the EU. I hope the opinion of target voters will shift towards EU again in the future.
@mikegalsworthy Here's hoping and it's not a case of 'Pretend to be somewhat responsible until we get into power"
@mikegalsworthy I'm wondering if it's really accurate for Hungary. Orban's constant "freedom fight against Brussels" rhetoric is convincing to many of his followers, who believe everything he utters without a critical thought in their minds (well, actually without any thought in their minds, if I'm honest) ☹️
