@alebianco Norse mythology is the other one I thought about, but it's been done to such extent (and mixed with franchises like Marvel, God of War, etc) that it'd just look generic, I think. Orishas is still fresh (at least outside of the Central America/South America/West Africa axis).
I grew up hearing about some of the main gods/goddesses of Orishas, but have looked into more detail recently and it's much richer than I though!
@alebianco Yeah, it's a religion some take very seriously and there would be an element of appropriation to it. So not sure how that could work. But a card game still sounds like a good idea, mechanically.
