Sometimes I am reassured by how the people who claimed so much with immunity and SARS Cov 2 will have to endure in the world they helped create
When they helped the virus along by seeking infection-based immunity, they evolved it into the ever-present beast it is today
I fully expect the seeding in the lymphoid tissue, like in the kids, and the sloughing and turnover of key parts of the immune system
It doesn't even need to be chronic with this rate of reinfection

Yeah, at this point whether or not it's chronic and persistent is academic with reinfections every few months.
How would we even find a cohort that stayed uninfected for years after an initial infection!?
