To make fun of my wife for how easily she startles, I started loudly announcing stuff like "I am currently entering from the garage and walking into the hallway!" from like 6 rooms away, announcing every room I enter in a stupid mocking voice until we're in the same room.

It has completely backfired because she loves it and unironically asks me to keep doing it every time.
