Did you know "Carrie: The Musical" was a thing? It was a surreal thing to learn about and even stranger to witness.

If the Moore Theatre in the video is the one in #Seattle, where I used to live, then I've seen many shows there. Old-fashioned, slightly tatty, a lot of gingerbread, and the best theatre I've ever been in.

@stephenkingjourney That's fine. You weren't impressed? I post these things partly so I can watch them at my leisure.
@riggbeck I wasn't impressed at all. I'm not a huge fan of musicals to begin with, although I can appreciate their artistic merit and appeal. But even in the world of musicals, the songs were godawful - just listen to some of the lyrics. They were cringeworthy!
There was a 10-part podcast series that did a deep dive into the history and origins of this musical. This was an absolutely fascinating listen. I highly recommend it!
