@maegodhavemercy It is like magic almost. I'm about 4 months away from 6 years and it keeps nudging me along.

And I so much more like who I see in the mirror now. But it's not just the physical changes. Transition and hrt finally put me in the real world and I've learned so much more about myself and who I am and what I believe is important. I couldn't do that when trapped inside the closet.

@maegodhavemercy it's insane. I'm coming up on a year, (your comic is largely at fault :P), and I can't believe the changes already. Even my profile picture is significantly outdated at this point.

What I don't get, is how my parents still have no idea.

The one I'm looking forward to someday is the Y 0/1/2/3/4/5/6/7 progression, since it takes seven years on average for all the cells in the human body to die off and be replaced. I figure, that's the end of active transition, if there is such a thing.

Got a whole commemorative tattoo planned out and everything.

I'm almost at the six month mark myself. It sometimes feels like where I'm at six months in is where I'll be stuck forever. But I can see that you're still getting amazing results just from comparing the two and three year pictures.
