@ZLabe As ppm continues to go up, I feel like we are still trying to "prevent the worst impacts of climate change"... it's just that some of the old "worst impacts" are now already a foregone, pending result. It's not wrong, but I worry that the language contributes toward people waving off the warnings: "They've said that for years, and the worst hasn't happened yet!" How can we communicate that we're already facing bad impacts we could've avoided if we acted better, sooner?
