So Intel didn’t fully make sure that CMOVs don’t get through the compiler in the GCC patch, which is why LLVM is blowing up in the first few seconds of building.
So now GCC needs to be fixed up.
I’m not friggin paying for ICC.
All of these tools are __just__ old enough to not properly work in RHEL8. GCC 5.x just doesn't want to build with GCC 8.
I pulled the centos:7 container and I'm running my make commands through Cockpit while I edit and fix bugs through VSCode whilst making fart noises with my mouth in disapproval.
