There are so many gaming franchises I'm just 'done' with. Take Assassin's Creed for example. It has not innovated since Black Flag and that games was pretty forgettable. All it did was introduce ships. I loved the sea shanties though. If you're not going to let your creatives have any control then I'm not going to spend.

Not that I think for one second I'm their demographic because I think recurrent spending is for idiots.

@Strider you know, I've only played the first AC, thought it was mediocre and mostly forgot about it. Now it's about vikings. I don't know what happened during those 15 or so years.

But I know people who play them all. I question them about it, but it's like their comfort food. They know what they are getting and they like it.

Guess it beats me tirelessly looking for the next SOMA or some more obscure Moons or Madness.
