Of all the endings I feel like the Cradle’s Graces ending was the weakest? It’s basically “hey let’s continue the status quo”

Like. It makes sense in plot and thematic terms. But compared to the wild Memorial Foundation and Celestial Mechanics endings it feels almost anticlimactic in comparison

But even that’s fine: not all endings have to be transformative or world-changing, and for all the power Pluto / the Krun Macula has, it‘s not the sort that can force reconciliation.

I thought. I honestly thought. That I’d dislike the Memorial Foundation ending the most. Because in a way it’s painted as the most defeatist of the lot. So I left it for last. But then between L-T pulling that stunt at the end, and the conversations between all three characters on the last day? Yeah, it actually works out strangely perfect. Heartwarmingly so.
