my house is full of cat toys and the only ones he'll touch are ponytail holders and the crinkly plastic rings that seal the tops of plastic bottles

@ian @dc540 yes, and also, lots of plastic products are coated in things like cornstarch or stearates or other tasty animal byproducts!

I've seen a theory that some plastics also have chemicals that mimic pheromones in them but idk how accurate that is.
