@drewharwell I noticed an uptick in nationalist/populist posts in Portuguese in the last several weeks. I didn't realize that Twitter's Brazil staff had essentially been destroyed but it certainly isn't surprising.

Elon Musk is destroying Twitter, and my only complaint is that he's not doing it fast enough. People will be hurt and killed due to what he's doing. The longer it drags out, the more people will be damaged.

Elon is full out using twitter as manipulated media, complete fascist use of the platform. They hide my tweets and filled my timeline with far right loon accounts Like Boebert and Fox News as if I follwed them and did not deliver my exposure to my 3000 followers.

@drewharwell If I assume 'before' means just hours before, as a consequence of them not moderating content properly, then that's a Good Thing. However, it was back in November. Maybe they were too biased back then, but he left the office with nobody to moderate, in favour of 'free speech' and 'both-sideism'.
