Black people: "woke" is a word we coined to indicate a new and growing awareness of the intrinsic and structural nature of American racism.

White conservatives: we have no idea what you're talking about, but also we find that extremely insulting to us personally.

@JuliusGoat and now they use woke as a pejorative when talking about anything they don't like. I wish someone could go on Faux News and explain it to them and their viewers. I hate seeing Trump supporters using the term but if you ask them what woke means they stumble around and say something like radical Democrat communist. So ignorant.
