The Autotune effect is being looked down upon and the only point in this debate that to me doesn't feel solely like elitist gatekeeping, is the issue with omnipresent pitch-correction posing unrealistic expectations on singers.

Aside from that the whole debate is useless because Autotune (and the likes) is just an artistic tool like reverb, distortion, Vocoders etc.

But! What's the queer perspective? Are there (I bet there are) people with voice dysphoria using it to create music? Is it helping marginalized people who are not professional singers to express themselves? Isn't the whole idea of creating an artificial version of yourself very queer?
