If Democrats were wise, they would put on a hard-press for a Federally mandated right-to-repair (which would be opposed by Republicans.) A Right-to-Repair fits well with normal Democratic ideals, even though Democrats are a minority in rural areas that care about this issue the most. Nonetheless, supporting something important to "Republican" voters, in the face of opposition from Republican legislators, would help build support for Democrats among Republican voters.

"Corner-crossing" is yet-another issue unknown to urban Democrats.
Corner-crossing occurs when you step between two parcels of land at a corner where four property lines intersect. When doing so, you will inevitably pass through the air-rights above at least one, if not two other parcels. The owners of those parcels will say that you are trespassing in order to block your passage.
There are passionate arguments for and against your right to cross at corners.
