If you toot at me like this, you'll get a mute or likely even just a block.

It's not a competition, I'm only *one* person who has a lot of things to cover. I don't care if I'm "late" on something, I'm not rushing just because others feel they need to.

News is often a zero-numbers game if you're late you lose out on advert revenue. GamingOnLinux has no adverts, and I'm not in it for the most clicks. I just want to provide interesting content for people who appreciate that. Apologies if I don't hit inflated expectations of being "first" on things to some people.
@gamingonlinux You're pretty much the only one I follow on here for #SteamDeck news so I'll take it as it comes thank you :)
@gamingonlinux
So many times "being first"also means "rushing things" and I'd rather read content that's well thought of over "Hot now!" -type drivel.
@gamingonlinux I also love how the first 2 paragraphs of your articles are not just there to be skipped. Can't say the same on many other publications.
@gamingonlinux yeah, being the first is not useful. I don't follow "medias" like you to have instant posts.
@gamingonlinux As someone who wanted at one time to get into journalism: You're an inspiration :) No-nonsense, no ads, no rush and interesting is the way.
@gamingonlinux I actively appreciate this, and it's why I keep you in my feeds both RSS and here.
@gamingonlinux you definitely provide do, I discovered a lot of interesting games thanks to your posts, despite that I'm gaming on Windows (-:
@gamingonlinux I'd rather have interesting news than having a continuous flow of mostly uninteresting news. Keep the current flow, this is why I follow GoL. 👍🏻
