Tory voters losing faith in Brexit benefits, poll finds

A new survey found some 33 per cent think decision to leave trade bloc has created more problems than it solved

The Telegraph

@guyverhofstadt Since #Brexit solved zero problems (ask any Leave promoter for a list of #Brexit benefits seen to date), this isn't a hard conclusion to come to.

Zero benefits vs. dozens (hundreds?) of downsides.

@guyverhofstadt It's going to take a lot for Ramainers like me to forgive them.
@guyverhofstadt
Fascinating. The headline implies that Brexit solved some problems, even if they were fewer than it created. I'm intrigued as to which problems it solved, because I'm struggling to think of any.
@PoleconD @guyverhofstadt Pint-sized champagne bottles!
@quinmars @guyverhofstadt
🀣 I saw them proposed, but have any been produced for commercial purposes (as opposed to pro-Brexit, or band-waggoning promotional/publicity purposes). Either way, it is, as you imply, a minor absurdity. πŸ˜‚
@guyverhofstadt What would it take for the EU to contemplate the UK being allowed to rejoin? A great deal more than favourable polls, sadly.
@guyverhofstadt sorry, I haven't run out of popcorn.

As for making Brexit works: The UK is the country the least equipped to make Brexit works.
@guyverhofstadt and 48% totally ignored in the drive for a sovereignty we never lost. All to hide the tax dodging hegemony of non domiciles setting Tory policy - hence NHS death throes.
Go figure….
@guyverhofstadt Soms denk ik wel eens; "Brixiteers, dat zijn de mensen waarvoor het oude testament ooit voor uitgevonden is"...
@guyverhofstadt Yes, they're right, for once and without setting a precedent!
@guyverhofstadt Thanks Guy. I had my EU citizenship removed against my will. Since then, #Tory and #DUP #Brexiters have obtained EU citizenships to which I (as someone with no identified non-British ancestry) am not entitled. #Brexit
@guyverhofstadt If only someone had warned them ... πŸ€”
