marktaylor@RollingStone If the FBI indict House Republicans or refuse to do so because of pressure from the same House Republicans there’s going to be a constitutional crisis.
But this is also why we have state governments too. If the Federal Government ultimately cannot prosecute crime it has committed itself, it will disappear. Most states can’t survive without it though. The US may eventually look like Europe.
But as the 2024 election campaign begins, Senate Republicans may step in.
