@HatTheButcher So in this space I'm being criticized by one person for not embracing violence enough and by another for being too authoritarian. Interesting group.
@Macpadana @HatTheButcher Violence is not necessarily authoritarian, yes it's a tool used by authoritarians, but it can also be used to break free of them.
So I guess if one is getting feedback to be less pacifist and less authoritarian, that really amounts to people telling you to be more of a freedom fighter.
Goldfish 🐠@HatTheButcher have kids that recently graduated high school. It was interesting how much less they were told about the holocaust than my generation was. In the 70s we sat through films showing the liberation of the camps. The piles of bodies, etc. 15 and 16-year guys cried in history class. It was very upfront, in your face. My kids barely discussed it in school.
