@MicheleV_AK One of the great oddities is that Alaska has both the most western and eastern point of the United States. One small part of the Aleutian Islands is past the International Date Line, so it is at 179 degrees East Longitude. It still is aligned with Alaska's time just to keep times easier to manage.
@rgod8855 There was a time when Alaska had different time zones! So glad that got rid of that and the entirety of the state is now on Alaska Standard Time.
