More of the current situation in Paris after police attacked people grieving and expressing rage over an apparent terrorist-attack against a Kurdish cultural centre there.

❗️The police also attacked the protest in Athens❗️
As a reaction to the bloody attack in Paris, Kurds and internationalists also took to the streets together in Athens. Here, too, the police tried to use force to suppress the protests. However, the demonstrators were undeterred and defended themselves against the attacks of the cops.

Identity of the fallen of Paris released
According to the current status, three people have died in the attack in Paris. According to the daily newspaper Yeni Özgür Politika, the persons involved are Evîn Goyî, Mîr Perwer and Abdurrahman Kızıl.
🌹 Evîn Goyî (Emine Kara) has been active for the Kurdish freedom movement for many years and was most recently a representative of the Kurdish women's movement in Europe, she was a driving force in the Kurdish women's liberation struggle, one of those who captured the spirit of Jin Jiyan Azadî with her fight for freedom carried and fulfilled.
✌️ Abdurrahman Kızıl was a Kurd who was close to his homeland and who also worked in the diaspora for the interests of the Kurdish people.
🪕 Mîr Perwer was a Kurdish musician who was known and appreciated in the diaspora for his songs and belonged to the cultural movement TEV-ÇAND.
We offer our deepest condolences to the friends and family of those who were martyred.
The fallen are immortal.🌹🔥

It took the police 40 minutes to even arrive at the multi-lethal apparent racist terror-attack, to then be handed over the attacker by the victims having done the police's job already and after that police attacking the at the time calmly grieving victims and friends,
then they do it again the day after when the people were to protest e.g. against not being protected against terror-attacks by the police.
You know and everyone else honest knows that these police riots, etc are rooted in systemic racism in an infamously far-right dominated authoritarian police corps.
The same racism as the attacker has now explicitly admitted to.
Protests today in Stockholm, Athens, Zürich and Hannover in response to the apparent racist terrorist attack targeting Kurds in Paris yesterday as well as the police's riots against the victims of that terrorism-attack.
Sorry about the video-quality. 40MB is a bit tight for some videos and the article hasn't been translated yet.
Public Service TV of Sweden reports:
"Protests after the shooting in Paris continued during the Saturday.
Thousands of people gathered in central Paris for a minute of silence.
The minute of silence was held for the three that were killed at a Kurdish culture centre.
The attack was according to President Macron targeted at Kurds in France.
The minute of silence supposedly transformed [see my previous toots] in violent scenes.
At least four cars have been overturned and the police fired teargas."
I mean, how would you and your friends feel if you were the targets of a specifically targeted attack, you subdued and handed over the attacker to the police, only to get attacked by the police for expressing sadness and rage against terrorism, twice two days in a row?
What would you feel then?
If it was almost a decade into continuously demanding a proper and transparent investigation of a very similar assassination covered by inexplicit silence?
Honestly? How would you feel?
How would you feel if the "apparent" terrorist had also previously repeatedly committed the same racist targeted violence, but the supposed "protection" of the police took them an hour to even arrive to receive the subdued "apparent" terrorist?
To then attack the actual victims?
How would you feel?

Le Parisien reports that the attacker that killed three and injured three more at a Kurdish culture centre, a restaurant and a hairdresser salon in Paris "because I am a racist" has been turned over to psychiatric care.
Prosecutor claims to still seek lifetime imprisonment.
The "suspect" William M., 69, apprehended at the hairdresser salon by further intended murder targets was also after the attack called an "idiot" by dad.
Also a demo https://home.social/@dissensantifa/109568942747501620 in Erfurt, mid-east Germany.
You have to click to see it, because @Gargron decided so.
Thanks for the tip, @persepolis100!

Another picture of when the people defended themselves against the Paris police's riots following an apparent racist terror-attack targeting three Kurdish premises, killing three and injuring more.
That would be the flag of the "Marxist-Leninist Communist Party" (MKLP) of Turkey, whose party-members fight in the International Freedom Battalion alongside YPJ, YPG, TİKKO, BÖG, etc in Rojava against ISIL, imperialist aggressor Erdoğan and so on.
It should be noted with additional emphasis for clarity that far-right "William M.", the attacker in the recent shooting in Paris self-declared to police as being "a racist" and to have specifically targeted the Kurdish community.
It was not arbitrary, but specifically ethnicity-targeting attack → politically motivated murders and attempted murders → terrorism.
The Minister of Interior on the other hand before the investigation hardly even started stated that it is not terrorism ("even though I am not allowed to say that"), because... incoherent rant, so yeah, that's a recognizable pattern worldwide.
The original reporting for these details, which others cite sometimes indirectly, seems to be
https://www.lejdd.fr/Societe/le-suspect-du-triple-meurtre-a-paris-sest-declare-raciste-devant-la-police-4156523 and https://www.bfmtv.com/police-justice/fusillade-a-paris-le-suspect-a-dit-aux-policiers-qu-il-voulait-s-en-prendre-a-la-communaute-kurde_AV-202212240094.html (both in French).
William's dad has in turn declared William "an idiot" while speaking to M6 TV.
Another demo was held in response to and demanding a transparent and through investigation of the 2nd Paris Massacre in an apparent racist terrorism-attack specifically targeting Kurds.
The first of them still hasn't had that almost exactly a decade later and the major suspect remains MİT.

🌹 Emîne Kara 🌹
➡️ Emîne was fighting #ISIS in #Iraq & #Syria, notably in #Raqqa
➡️ In 2015 when ISIS commited genocide on the #Ezidi people in Şengal, she organised care for the persecuted Ezidies
➡️ After being injured in the war against ISIS, she came to #France in 2019
➡️ Women like Emîne played a key role in protecting of the people in NE-#Syria/#Rojava.
➡️ By fighting #ISIS, Emîne did protect #France & the whole of humanity - but the French state did not protect her.

"European far-right affects France's stance on Paris attack[...]
current political conditions in Europe do not allow France to have a clear stance on the 2013 and 2022 massacres against Kurds in Paris.
[...] any act that was not committed by an Islamist"

Side-note:
I still oppose calling Wahhabis/Salafis "Islamist" or "Jihadi" as in mine as well as many others' view (including mainstream Muslim) view they are not acting according to Islam and "Jihad" literally just means "struggle", out of which the internal struggle for becoming a better person is traditionally considered the greater one... and we all "struggle".
Call them Salafis or even better Wahhabis to especially note that their ideology is a recent invention (which is dogmatically forbidden) essentially originating from one person, as late as in the late 1700s after being thrown out of the most major theology school for not understanding Islam.
Furious Kurdish demonstrators clashed with police in central Paris on Friday after three people were shot dead in a suspected racist attack on a community centre that revived the trauma of three unsolved murders many blame on Turkey.
"Kurds from around Europe demonstrate over killings in Paris", declares AP, apparently oblivious to the possibility that non-Kurds may have also objected to terrorism.
https://apnews.com/article/paris-turkey-crime-france-government-4af19ea6e0bc29a2026ed748b1358488
Also neglects to mention that it was the police that attacked the survivors and their friends two days in a row after the latest deed, misattributing the police's riots as "skirmishes [...] in response to last month’s shooting".
Also, the PKK is not "separatist", as it has declared it does not want a separate State, being opposed to States as a concept, but churnalists regurgitating the aggressor's propaganda-line keep publishing their ignorance without getting fired for professional incompetence or unprofessional misconduct.
Good photos from AP though.
Fortunately higher quality news agencies than the AP exist, like here https://anfenglish.com/news/tens-of-thousands-march-for-justice-in-paris-64787 ANF's report on the same event.
"Kurds from around Europe", the Associated Press through excessive precision fabricates falsehood based on racist professional incompetence or maliciously unprofessional misconduct (see previous toot).
In actual reality... among the protesters were also:
"The President of the Paris Bar Association, [...] dozens of French elected officials, intellectuals, writers, academics, union representatives, lawyers, [...], representatives of leftist socialist organizations from Turkey addressed the audience.
[...]
Ian Brossat [Deputy Mayor of the City of Paris]
Alexandra Cordebard [Mayor of the 10th arrondissement of Paris]
Mathilde Panot [leader of the La France Insoumise group in France's parliament]
Jocelyne Dubois [National Party Secretary of France's Left Party]
Dylan Boutiflat [France's Socialist Party's National Board member",
etc, etc.
https://www.nuceciwan119.xyz/en/2023/01/tens-of-thousands-marched-in-paris/
And now one of the corresponding articles has a version in English too:
"Thousands march in Marseille and Hamburg for Paris martyrs
[...] with the participation of representatives of French Radical Solidarity, deputies, the mayor of Marseille, as well as representatives of several institutions"
https://anfenglish.com/news/thousands-march-in-marseille-and-hamburg-for-paris-martyrs-64795
I'll just highlight the absolutely absurd decision by Germany's cops that "participation in the demonstration in Paris" alongside members of parliament of France, Mayor/Deputy of Paris, etc, after "unwavering" solidarity declaration from the Minister of Justice of France on December 25, that such a demo participation "would harm the interests of [Germany]".
No, your own actions harm your own credibility. #1312
