For my sins I listened to The Federalist podcast take on the shenanigans in the House. I learned that (according to them) Jim Jordan is a sell-out, that “establishment Republicans” like McCarthy & McConnell are part of a uniparty with the Democrats (who are still dangerous radical left Socialists, of course) and that these sorts of contested Speaker votes happen all the time [narrator: last time was 1923].

@sethcotlar It’s fascinating to me that even right wing podcasts/radio are now split. The old guard (Hewitt, Hannity, Levin) are beside themselves with the traitorous Freedom Caucus while the newcomers (Bongino, etc.) are cheering them on. Hewitt has been inviting listeners to call in about which side they support, and I would say the clear majority support the “traitorous” 20. Hewitt cannot believe how little the listeners understand about part loyalty to advance a platform.
