It's an accessibility thing. I can read the image. People who can't see the image will want to know what it says.

It's not something I usually do.
{sigh} Walther Mathilde badgered me to sign my shit, and I've begun to do that {besides, how will I become a media superstar}, now you want me to alt-text them all? {gads.} So see what evolves - now I need the credit department (sign it), the alt-text department (alt text it), so many departments. I think this is why people shoot themselves and go back to watching TV.
I'll do it this way: only on demand to begin with. that spares my captioning things before I know there's any interest in it.
Question remains, why won't you repost with a caption? As long as you're faithful, I don't mind.

I liked that someone hinted to the alt-text. And I like that someone just added the alt text. That s a nice respectful way to treat each other. That s what I wanted to express.
